This page is not deep and meaningful; I sort of thought about making it deep and meaningful, but the poets are deep and meaningful already and who am I to compete? So, below is a collection of links to poetry sites and sites about some of my personal favorite poets.

Christopher Marlowe - Elizabethan, also a playwright, probably a spy as well; certainly prone to trouble. Responsible for the first play written in English blank verse.
